Howdy. Comics Guy was going to do a strip or two, but then he thought doing this would potentially cause more outrage. Not BrickLink Forum levels of outrage because that is a mountain no Comics Guy can climb. But, you know, general Comics Guy levels of outrage.
Now y’all need to know that Comics Guy is just a recreational coder, but he is a real designer. So the code underlying this page is not finessed and it definitely could use some love between about 850 and 400 pixels wide. And the Search and Login dropdowns don’t seem to work on the phone. Comics Guy will admit to a myriad of shortcomings.
Anyhoo, resize the page and run your cursor over the links at the top. Links don’t go anywhere, but this is just supposed to be a layout demo. Then put the page on your phone and give it a try there.
Why professionals can’t get their web site up to current code standards after fourteen years is beyond Comics Guy’s meager grasp on reality. Also, claiming “spaghetti code” and “we’ll get there eventually” is lazy and bullshit.
